A National Trust-listed brick cottage on Little Street, built around 1845–1850 and extended over several generations.
One of the oldest buildings in town, Rosedale Cottage began as a five-roomed brick cottage on a sandstone base in the 1840s and grew substantially between 1883 and 1935 as the resident family added a dining room, verandahs, a kitchen wing and outbuildings including stables and a dairy. The family later donated land from the property to create Wilson Park and the site of the Wilson Memorial Hospital. Now a private home, it's one of 30 stops on the town's Heritage Walk.
