A National Trust-listed 1852 brick building at the southern end of town, named after Murrurundi's original township.
Built in 1852 from local bricks, this building stands in what was once the separate township of Haydonton, established in 1842 by landowner Thomas Haydon before it amalgamated with Murrurundi in 1913. Once a critical overnight stop on the old highway, it's now a private home and still carries its original “Haydonton Inn” nameplate on the facade. One of 30 stops on the town's Heritage Walk.
